This blog is not here to offend the Catholic. It is my true and honest belief that Catholicism leads people in the wrong direction. If you are a Catholic and upset by this, please be aware that you follow a religion that is just as harsh on my faith-belief.
Devout Catholicism (as per the Catechism on the Vatican website) says that those of us who know about the Catholic Church and reject the Catholic Church are not saved, hence not going to heaven. This is in stark contrast to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the bible and tells me that anyone who follows such a belief is not a born again believer, as Jesus says a person must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. --John 3:7

The following is an excerpt from the Catholic Catechism (section 846):
"Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the
Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is
the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is
the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism,
and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men
enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who,
knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through
Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it."
The Catechism makes the false claim that the Catholic Church is
necessary and claims that those of us who knowingly refuse to enter the
Catholic Church are not saved, hence going to hell. So please keep this in
mind if you get upset that I disagree with Catholicism.
